Riding Lesson Program
Saddlewood Horse Club offers year round riding lesson in our own covered and lighted riding arena. Not too hot or too wet, but just right. You will not believe the difference... All of our lessons and events are rain or shine. Visitors can enjoy watching the horses from our covered viewing area.
Our riding instructor, Christina, is level III CHA certified in English, Western, and jumping. Her love and dedication to her students and horses alike shows in her unique detailed lesson style. With her German background, she combines safety and precision. Students ages range from as young as 3 years up to 81 years (and counting). As a mom of four, she understands children and parents alike. For your piece of mind, our staff is fingerprinted, youth protected, and CPR trained. We proudly team up for events and some camps with the City of Cape Coral, Four Freedoms Park, for several years now.
You have the choice of private, semi-private, or group lessons. All lessons are one hour long on our well trained schooling horses and ponies. We encourage horse interaction and develop not just riders but the love of horses.

Our one hour group lessons are once a week on our well trained schooling horses. The students begin the lesson with the preparation of "their" horse. Grooming and tacking up of the horse are part of the lesson and we gladly help and explain during this time. English and Western riding styles are available. After the horses and rider are ready to "giddy-up", we begin our riding in our covered riding arena or outside. The about 30 minutes of saddle time are filled with instructions in a fun-filled, unique teaching style that is appealing to young and old alike. Elements like ground poles, standing poles, barrels, obstacles, or cones are used in lessons. Jumping lessons are as well available on a semi-private or private basis.
